I have been retired from Social Services for over 6 years now and have continued my passion for helping people through research of accessible travel and hospitality for persons with disabilities as well as exploring my creative side making my own soaps and creams.
Through the years, I suffered from migraine headaches and back pain (from Scoliosis) and while I remained reasonably active through exercising, it wasn't until I found yoga, that I felt relief from both.
I have to say, though, that I have definitely found tremendous satisfaction and fulfillment in teaching yoga. The delight I feel when I see people who have discovered that they can, indeed, partake in an accessible yoga practice, is second to none. I have completed my 200 hour Teacher's Training in Hatha Yoga, certified in Chair Yoga, completion of Biomechanics and Kinesiology with Functional Synergy as well as a course in Level 1 Adaptive Yoga for persons with disabilities.
